Thomas Powell (known as Tom Tom) was recruited in 2003. He enjoys the normally mutually exclusive sports of ballet and rugby, and uses this passion for extremes to manage difficult situations which keeps the business running smoothly. Tom is loved by his team at www.kitchenwastebags.co.uk, and they all say he is a great motivator. In fact he normally manages to get his own way and his colleagues are used to Tom taking what he wants.
Rosie May Powell (known as Rosy Moo to her colleagues) joined us in 2006 and is responsible for all external and internal communication (or talking as we call it). She is currently completing an MBA for Llangattock University where her tutors Myra and Jenny say she is doing well. Rosie is also used to getting what she wants and some board room discussions between Rosie and Tom can get quite heated.
Jacob Powell graduated from Osbaston University, and heads up our product design department. Jacob joined www.kitchenwastebags.co.uk in 2001. He is responsible for training the biopolymers from corn and potato starch to form into our kitchen waste bags. This is not an easy job, have you ever seen an angry polymer. He is passionate about beaches and his office has been designed to feel like a real beach environment, although his colleagues would say it looks like it has been hit by a tidal wave most of the time.
Alison Powell (known as mummy) is the last member of the team, and is responsible for investing all the money made by www.kitchenwastebags.co.uk, which is currently not much. She has a great head for figures and easily knows when to buy and when to sell. Although she normally only seems to buy. She graduated from a real university in 1994 and in her spare time is a planning consultant.
