The categories in this year’s Awards are:
* Community Recycler of the Year

www.kitchenwastebags.co.uk was nominated for the Innovation award and although it missed out on being shortlisted, the panel confirmed that they had had a very difficult decision as the standard of all entries was very high.
The panel commended the hard work that is going on at www.kitchenwastebags.co.uk, and they hoped that the company would enter again next year. Jamie Powell who started this local company with his wife said “We have just completed a fantastic first year and are now working with a number of local councils across the country to supply households with great value compostable caddy liners”.
“Monmouth is a great place to live and we are glad that we started our business in this beautiful town. Our four children are enjoying growing up in such a great place and it has provided us with a great location for our successful business”.
The Wales Recycling Awards ceremony and dinner will be held on the evening of September 21st at Venue Cymru, Llandudno.
